The School Advisory Council (SAC) is made up of school administrators, teachers, staff, parents, and members of the community. SAC meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month, August through May (no meeting in December), at 2:30 pm in the Media Center and are open to the public.
SAC’s responsibility is to facilitate communication between the school and the community, assist in determining school needs and aid in making school improvement goals a reality. Each year, SAC develops a new School Improvement Plan (SIP) setting forth its goals, objectives and strategies for educational goals in many different areas.

Every year, SAC conducts parent and student surveys to obtain feedback on different areas pertaining to the school. SAC reviews and analyzes these surveys and uses them to aid it in formulating new goals and strategies in achieving continued improvement. SAC also monitors allocation of funds for teachers and staff continuing education workshops and conferences.
